The carnival kicks off at 5 pm and will run until 7:30 pm on Friday, October 24. Admission is free and game tickets can be purchased in advance at $.25 each by contacting the school office at 725-1651.
If you like the traditional carnival-style games, St. John’s will have them – a cake walk, bean bag toss and prize fishing, to name a few. Kids can also get out their energy by taking trips down the giant slide. Families can jump on the wagon and be a part of an old-fashioned hayride. Parents may want to place bids on some of the many great items donated for the silent auction. Of course, there will be plenty of food, and if you don’t get enough to eat at dinner…you can always purchase something from the bake sale to take home for later!
A crowd of about 200 is expected, including St. John’s families, friends and the public at large. St. John’s Lutheran School is conveniently located on Silas Creek Parkway between Hanes Mall and Forsyth Tech. Free parking is available at the church, with overflow parking and shuttle service at Twin City Baptist Church on Ebert Street.
